FRI3D FAQ

What is the cost of the FRI3D?#

As a principle, we promote the adoption of our cutting edge, easy to use, game changing technology and therefore do not believe in imposing upfront capital expenditure on our customers. Our pricing models are therefore pay-as-you-use Software As A Service (SaaS) model based, whereby the business case (benefits from use of FRI3D) more often than not, will help pay for the subscription fee. There are different licensing models of FRI3D available depending on the need of the customer as well as their usage patterns viz. (a) node locked to a machine (b) locked to a windows user /users (c) floating which can operate on machines across a network limited by the number of licenses purchased.

For qualified leads, we also offer a four week evaluation copy for said qualified customers to familiarize themselves with FRI3D and the benefits arising from its use.

Is there an annual or perpetual software license?#

As described above, standard pricing models currently offered are on a pay per use annual SaaS basis, for the reasons listed above. However, we can discuss your specific needs and help identify the model which best suits your needs.

Is there maintenance support?#

Yes, the annual SaaS subscription comes with an annual maintenance / support and any upgrades in the annual period.

How often are new versions released?#

Custom built fixes based on your need can be released immediately for customer specific needs with critical impact. Generally, minor versions are released every quarter and major versions are released annually. The specific features implemented in the releases are based on consolidated feedback from users and their needs.

Can the software be run from a network or does it have to installed on one computer with Users logging in?#

There is an option to purchase a networked/floating license and that will give you the option of accessing the software on a network shared drive concurrently running FRI3D, limited by the number of floating licenses purchased.
